I found something a bit unusual this evening at a car show in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania... I know it’s a Chrysler Valiant, but beyond that, I’m lost... Help!

It’s an Aussie version of A-body Chryslers with a locally made Hemi-6 engine.

I didn’t realize Australia had their own I6. It’s kinda interesting how it came about, based on a prototype of a replacement to the Slant-6 that Chrysler in the US decided not to pursue.

I was vaguely aware of the Chrysler Valiant before, but was never familiar with any of the details. I never realized how different the Australia market Valiants were from the US market models. Not to mention the completely unique engine.
The VG itself is really neat. The front turn signals are a cool little detail; also, it was weird seeing a car from this era with amber rear turn signals.
